Troubleshooting Instagram Failed Connections

There are several things that can cause your Instagram account connection to fail. If you are having trouble connecting your Instagram account to GRIN, then this guide will walk you through what to review to make sure you can properly connect.

Keep in mind that in order to successfully connect, Facebook requires that your Instagram account is connected to a Facebook business page, and not just a regular account. If you do not have a Facebook page, then this guide here will walk you through how to create one, while this one here will walk you through how to link your IG to that page.

Review if you are the Facebook page admin

Select your Instagram, Facebook page, and all the permissions

During the connection process in GRIN, you will be directed to Facebook in order to log in, unless you're already logged in. Once logged in, you will be asked to select your IG, Facebook page, and several permissions.
