Email Errors & How to Resolve Them

Error Message

Email account is disconnected. Please reconnect in account settings. 

Why am I seeing this?

Your email account has become disconnected from GRIN's email service either intentionally, or due to an issue with GRIN or your email provider. 

How to Resolve

To resolve this issue, navigate to Account Settings > Email Integration and reconnect your email account. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Support for further investigation. 

 

Error Message

Resend limit (5) reached.

Why am I seeing this? 

When an email fails to send from within GRIN, we will attempt to retry sending the email up to a maximum of 5 times. Once we have reached the retry limit, you will see this error message.

How to Resolve

If you still want to send the message, you can click on the Send button to manually retry sending the message from the Failed Emails tab on the Email Dashboard.

Could not send email. 

Why am I seeing this? 
You might see this error message for a variety of reasons including: 

  • You may have reached your daily sending limit; this is a limit set by your email provider. 
  • Email account has been disconnected.
  • There is an issue on your email provider's side. 

How to Resolve

If you know you have reached your daily sending limit (this will appear in the Send Email modal), you will need to wait until the next day in order to send more emails. 

If you continue to see the error, contact Support for further investigation.

Why am I seeing this?

There was an error with GRIN connecting to the provider's email server. 

How to Resolve

To resolve this issue, navigate to Account Settings > Email Integration and reconnect your email account. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Support for further investigation.
