Connecting your company email with your Grin account will allow you to easily find communications with influencers from within the software. That means no more digging through your inbox to find an email you received from an influencer three weeks ago. Don't worry- Grin will never send email on your behalf, read your messages, and we don't know your password. We only sync emails from your known contacts in Grin.
To integrate your email:
Step 1: Click your profile name in the top right corner of the page and selecting "Account Settings".
Step 2: Click "Email Integration" from the column on the left side of the page.
Step 3: Click the green "Connect your Inbox" button.
Step 4: This will open a new window. You'll be prompted to type in your email address and click the "Sign In" button.
Step 5: If your email password is not saved to your browser, you will be prompted to enter it now. If your email is saved to your browser, you won't need to enter it again.
Step 6: The next screen is dependent upon your email provider. The system automatically detects what email provider your email address belongs to. If it is unable to detect a provider, it will prompt you for the email servers. You'll be prompted to select your email from the list. For Google email addresses, it will look like this:
Step 7: Click the blue "Allow" button in the bottom right corner to give permission to connect your email to Grin. After your email is connected, the window will automatically close. It may take a few minutes to sync to your inbox.
To disconnect an email address:
Step 1: Go to "Settings" by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
Step 2: Click "Email Integration" in the column on the left side of the page.
Step 3: Click the red "Disconnect" button next to the email address.
Step 4: Click the red "Yes, disconnect this inbox" button.
